I'm a single working mom,Can't Afford to give away money

I order E-Cigs vapor pin and it stated on the ad that the kit was $9.99 for Pro Vapor Starter Kit Which I also order the #1 menthol Original Tobacco 18Mg & #1 Watermelon Mist 18 Mg. and my invoice saying that I've also received a total of #3 Tobacco. My Credit Card was over charged by $179.00 I'm still trying to dispute the charges with my card company "Account Now", which Is not trying to reimburse my money also so I definitely will be changing my direct deposit from them. There has got to be a way to stop them from SCAMING any more people.

Review in Products category from Rosharon, Texas

I fell victim to exactly the same crime, however the name of the "company" was not quite the same, the name on the packing slip just says " E- CIGS " . They claim to be located in St. Louis, Mo.. I wish I had found this site first ,but it was a pop-up stating that I had been " selected " to receive the product free, only pay 9.95 shipping. Yes, I was nieve. My card was then charged the 109.99 unauthorized. This is fraud and these people are criminals, they need to spend a lot of time in prison. These may be the same perps who were operating out of Florida or else this scam is spreading. I was almost amused while reading the post from their rep. Sir, if you would put that statement in your ad , even in a font one tenth that size, everone would see it. Of coarse you won't because then the pidgeons would never click it. What's even more maddening is that the credit card co. treats these criminals as real customers instead of the evil creeps that they are.The card companies may be the only ones with the resouces to do something about it.

Not the flavor I ordered

I ordered two 250mg bottles of licorice flavored liquid. What flavor it has isn't good, and it certainly isn't licorice. I chatted with a "customer service" rep and stated that the liquid had no, zero licorice flavor. Her response was that they don't give refunds for flavor preference. This would be understandable if I disliked the licorice flavor, but that's not what I received. Ripoff company, apparently they'll send what they want regardless of what you order. Need 23 more words-why? Another *** rule without a reason, as if a 100 word review has more value than a 77 word review.

I fell victim to the e-cig free starter scam!!!!

I was on Amazon and had some sort of survey pop up. It said that if I completed, I would get a gift. I know, *** me. It really looked affiliated with Amazon! Anyway, the" gift" was a starter e-cig packet for $4.95. I have family members who smoke so I thought that since it was cheap, I'd get and give to them. It came in the mail quickly and I put it to the side until I could give to my family. A few weeks later I get confirmation of an order I didn't place. No order amount. I called support and was informed that I had been billed $99.00 for two refills! I couldn't believe it and asked how they could do that. Apparently in their terms and conditions if you do not respond to them within 15 days they go ahead and send out another order. I was outraged. I asked how I could send EVERYTHING back then the support person offered to $ 80.04 if I kept everything, basically charging me $19.99 for the two refills. She said she canceled my account and it would take 5-10 business days for the money to be refunded. Customer Customer Service: 1-86*-830-**** Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. support@***.com

Ripped off

I order a starter kit of E Cig for 4.95 There was nothing anywhere about charging 95.95 in the statement nothing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I checked by account and they did take 4.95 out on 2/6/14 then 2/16/14 they took 99.95 out of my account. I did not authorized that at all. Matter of fact after ordering the 4.95 trial offer, someone told me to look at the reviews for this company and I did and they were horrible, rip offs, horrible stories. So I called them over 4 times telling them to never send me anything ever again to take me off their mailing list, take me out of their computer. Then I noticed the 99.95 charge and again called them asking them why and where this amount showed on. They could not answer, I don't have this kind of money when you can buy these e cigs everywhere for 20.00. I called my bank 2/17/14 and they want me to call them back on 2/19/14 when it hits my bank and clears and asked them to dispute it. God help me and my bank that they do dispute it and put in back on my account. I hate this company and their dishonesty, lies and hidden truths. I would like to see them shut down. I am so pissed, but poor right now, this could have been worst and I could have a lot of bills bouncing right now but I had an extra 100.00 in my account but not for this. I would like to sue them for pain and suffering and for screwing me and making my life miserable for over a week and to wait probally another 13 days.

Horrible products and customer service

I've bought several items from e-liq/e-cig and most are poorly made. They carts leak and only work for a week. Their e-liquid flavors are of poor quality and they taste horrible. They will not stand behind their e-liquids even if they are mis-formulated. They make no exceptions to their return policy even if they are at fault and then make up claims in regards! I contacted them in good faith and only received a generic response. They claim their e-liquids are made in the USA but everything they sell seems to originate from China. Maybe the e-liquids are mixed in the USA but doubt all of US origin.

I agree with nikalseyn. Also, a complaint from a smoker.....kind of ironic isn't it.

Why are you smoking in the first place? Maybe quit and your world will be better.

John N Mzy

Given that the products are made in China, shouldn't you be concerned---really concerned---about what is actually in them? There are many small outlets now selling these things.

Buy from them but look at the packaging before purchasing to find out where they are made. Anything made in China is suspect, for example the frozen fish you buy in supermarkets.

E-cigs is a scam!!!

I received a promotional offer to try electronic cigarettes FOR FREE (trial offer)!!!I paid for shipping $5. After they delivered the product I got notification that I'm going to be charged monthly for refills. So I called them and told that I don't wan't this service and I want to close my account. The answer to this was that then I have to return the trial product back!!!!! otherwise they gonna charge me $25.99 for the trial product THAT WAS FREE ON THE FIRST PLACE!!!! So now I have to spend another $5 for shipping and a total $10 for nothing!!!! It's a total SCAM!!!

E-cigs brand recurring payment scam

e-cigs ' introductory' offer for £6.99 , when it arrived I noted I had bee unwittingly signed into a recurring payment scheme , this was only shown on a small card with the kit and could well of been missed , It stated that I had joined a membership club and had 15 days to cancel, no mention of how much would be taken , but i hear it can be as much as 50 - 60 gbp, I immediately contacted my bank and placed a cancellation request on the account, hopefully in time!have emailed them regarding the same stear well clear!

Auto billed after I told them no more!!

I ordered the $4.95 sampler, then like most was auto charged $99.95 for a shipment I did not request or want. I called told them NOT to send anything and DO NOT bill my card for anything more. That exactly what they did. Said "sorry" person did not enter all the info in account. So that means they just get my money for a while. Must make a fortune in interest on all the money they steal from people. NOT RIGHT. SHOULD NOT BE LEGAL. Not sure if I can block them from charging my card? Read the fine print I guess.

They stole from me overcharged like crazy

The ad said 4.95 for a starter kit so I paid it since it was cheaper than in the stores and now instead of a 4.95 charge I have a 99.67 charge and I'm pissed I didn't authorize this amount. They stole from me I want my money back. Can someone help me? I now am wondering if I will be getting more charges like this since this is such a shady company. Has anybody else had such alike experiences? I'm contacting my lawyer first thing in the morning hopefully he can tell me what to do or I'll cancel my card.

don't pay their bill, show proof that you did not order the extra cartridges or whatever it was. Tell them you will hire an attorney and take them to court ( of course you won't ).

I am sure they will eventually give up. I am also not sure if much can legally happen to you for $99 in respect to credit rating or their time & trouble in making you pay it

$4.95 E-cig offer! DO NOT DO IT!

I read the ad offering a trial package for $4.95 and before digging deeper into it I ordered it. READ THE TERMS BEFORE YOU BUY THIS! BIG SCAM!!! They will automatically bill you $99.97 at the end of your "14 day trial period" for the starter kit, and then will send you 24 refills once a month for $79.00. You can get E-Cigs cheaper that this elsewhere. I really don't like the deceptive way they did this! I was able to cancel the transaction without dealing with the unexpected cost, and I informed my credit card company to flag this company. I just wish I had not bought into such an obvious BS offer.

Sadly, most people reading this are like me...already got scammed. Do not do e-cig trial...I cancelled in 15 days and I am still disputing credit card charges...even if you like what they sell, they overcharge for what you get. It is not a real trial, you can't even open stuff to try it, or they will not give you a refund.

Robin Mno

I apologize in advance for a "long comment" but I just want to be thorough.

My situation was very similar to "Miyates" comment above. I received a pop-up ad while researching ecigs which advertised a starter kit for $4.95. I am one who, almost without exception, reads ALL terms & conditions. I can only guess I skimmed this one because I generally steer clear of trial purchases where they automatically start charging you after "x # of days". You never know what might happen to distract me by the end of the trial period.

In this case, I had a major distraction. My father had a heart attack a few days after I'd ordered the kit. After 8 days in the hospital, he passed away, then more days followed due to planning and having the funeral. Obviously, 14 days had passed. When I received my next credit card statement, the $4.95 charge was there -- but there was also another charge of $99.67 from ecig -- the latter of which was a complete surprise.

I called the ecig number on the statement and was told the $99.67 charge was because I had not called to cancel with the 14 day trial period. The gentleman I spoke with was very polite. I explained the situation I'd had to deal with and asked if I could speak with a supervisor because, due to the cost and the fact that the package remained on my counter UNOPENED, I wanted to return the product.

Instead, the gentleman said he would speak to a supervisor. Ultimately, my unusual circumstances were taken in account (at least, he said so) and they would credit my account $40.00, but I couldn't get them to tell me which account -- ecig or my credit card. In addition, I'd have 30 days to evaluate the product and if I decided to continue using it, the charge would be reduced to $31.95 per month or I could close my account at that time (the $79 noted by Myiates was their Thanksgiving special price). I politely told him I would consider it.

I then went online to the BBB only to find this company had an "F" rating due to the number of complaints.

My next step is to contact the dispute department for my credit card to see if I have a right to refuse the charge or not. Fingers are crossed.

My overall opinion here is to emphasize all to READ TERMS AND CONDITIONS always and DON'T FORGET TO CALL BACK IN THE DESIGNATED TIME FRAME if wishing not to continue with said product.

Thanks to all for your patience ... RDS

ECIGS

$4.95 plus an international transaction fee. Type: RETAIL Merchant: 888767**** ECIGS 888 767 **** June 9, 2012 Then I saw the next charge of 109.67 plus an international transaction fee on June 23, 2012. I called the number 888 767 **** that morning. Call answered almost immediately. Customer Service rep tried to hold me to the contract agreement, then tried to buy me off with a partial refund, then finally agreed to a full refund. I was given an RMA number and an address to return the ecig. I was also assured that I would receive a confirmation email. No email so made follow up call on 6/25/12. Same rep., Christine, very pleasant and professional by the way, took the call, confirmed my cancellation, put in another request to send me a confirm email, and confirmed the RMA. On June 27, 2012 I received a refund for the 109.67 including the international transaction fee. Never got a confirmation email but I got the refund. Yeah! So far so good. Will update with any surprises. Was I within the 14 day trial period just barely? This is a good example of why it may be prudent to buy this kind of item locally but the misleading offer hooked me. Never again!

All,

Please forward me information regarding the rip-offs. I was ripped off as well.

The agent's name when I cancelled was Roseanne, ID R13252. The conversation was recorded. I clearly indicated that this was fraud. I am considering a "class-action" lawsuit.

Please forward information to my email at bblaser28@***.com if you were ripped off and want remediation.

The only way to beat these fraudulent companies is to sue them as a collective "class" action lawsuit, then they will refrain from this style of fraudulent advertising and fraudulent companies is to sue them as a collective "class". They know that individuals wont spend the legal fees over a hundred bucks or so, but when they get hit with a multi-million dollar class-action lawsuit, as they deserve, they will realize that their "tricks" will be overcome by legal advocacy to protect unwitting consumers.

Luckily for me I used my Chase credit card to order the E-Cig from a company called Optima. Got the e-cig and charger and cartridges but then got a call from Chase saying they declined a charge of $116.93 because it was coming from the UK. I told them I didn't purchase anything for that amount and so they closed my account and sent me a new card.

Guest

I too got suckered in by the ad, I am now in the same situation. have the number and calling in the morning.

how long did it take you to get your refund and what info did you need. I have nothing but my name

Dave Iho

I also bought the $4.95 offer. I do not recalling seeing anything about $80.00 a month worth of cartridges every month.

An e-mail was not useful. With name , addy, etc they could not find my account and wanted more detailed info.

However, when I called the number on my credit card bill they were helpful. First offered to hold refill for a month then agreed to cancel the order all together.

Guest

I thought I would be billed for 4.95 for the trial but when I saw my bank statement I was charged a 100 for the trial package and then it didn't work. I was later charged for 80 dollars for the cartridges that i did sign up for.

I am returning everything since I product didn;t work, I tried calling the number but it was busy. I am very mad, and fighting for a refund.

Guest

I just ordered the E-Cigs free trial offer and I see the charge of $4.95 on my card...I haven't received the product yet. So is this a scam?

Do you not get a free trial? Or do they charge you the $109.67 once you get it?

Would you recommend me to cancel the whole thing before I have to deal with the $109 fee?

fake reviews by fake health companies and news agencies to lure you in for a 4.95 trial- which automatically enrolls you for a $109.67 payment 2 weeks later AND recurring payments monthly. You try to call and cancel before payments and they conveniently CAN NOT find your order. AFTER you have been billed, they say they are bound by the terms and conditions you agreed to. major scam. beware of this company . AND product *** looking for good electronic cigs? south beach or ever smoke rock. I am not affialated with either- just a consumer and ex smoker.
